How much does it cost?

Tickets are $141.25 ($125 + tax)

What is included with my ticket?

Tickets include access to the "quarterdeck reception", a four-course gourmet meal, red and white wine at your table, one complimentary pre-dinner drink (Champagne or non-alcohol) per person, entertainment by MC Ron James, and an enjoyable evening mingling and dancing among mariners.

Who can attend the Ball?

The Maritime Gala Ball is open to (serving and retired) - Canadian military personnel (officers and non-commissioned members) regular force or reserve, Canadian Coast Guard, Merchant Mariners, RCMP, public service members associated with maritime services, maritime affiliated  associations, corporate partners, members of foreign armed forces, and diplomatic corps. 

What should I wear to the Ball?

The Maritime Gala Ball is a formal event.

Dress for ladies is evening dress.
Dress for gentlemen is black tie (tuxedo).  

Military, CCG, RCMP other uniform associations are encouraged to wear appropriate uniform evening dress equivalents (mess dress, number one dress uniform with bow tie and formal shirt)

Authorization has been granted by the Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy for retired naval personnel to wear mess dress for this event.  We are seeking similar approval for retired Army and Airforce personnel.  As always - individuals wearing uniform must observe CAF dress and appearance regulations CFP 265

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable.

Can I sit with my friends or affiliated branch, directorate, and or unit?

Yes. Please indicate by emailing maritimegalaballcontact@gmail.com with whom you wish to sit and every effort will be made to accommodate your request. Tables are in rounds of ten. If you provide ten names they will be automatically seated together. Groups of less than ten will be seated with other groups, pairs or single persons to total ten at each table. Affiliated group tables will be seated in close proximity to one another. Due to the complexity of the seating plan, your final table assignment and table number will not be known to you until you arrive at the Ball.
